Tumbleweed problems with several applications (Goldendict, youtube-dl, clip grab...)

System: Tubleweed, Gnome 3.24.2, Wayland, AMD® Athlon™ ii x4 640 processor × 4, GPU: AMD Oland

The problems occured first after an update about ten days ago. Goldendict and Youtube-dl Gui crash as soon as I try to type anything into the URL entry field. Both also crash when I attempt to copy and paste an address into the field.

GOLDENDICT:

YOUTUBE-DL:

Crashed without any error notification

What could the reason be for this behaviour?

how did you update?
did you use

zypper dup --no-allow-vendor-change

or

zypper dup

you could also tell us your repo’s

zypper lr -d

there was a huge update in TW some 3rd party apps (from extra repo’s) might have issues

I updated with zypper dup. The only additional repo is packman.

then you should redo a full switch to packman and use zypper dup --no-allow-vendor-change to avoid repo mixing
but that has little to do with your issues, I’m guessing the move to gcc6 will take some time for some apps

Thanks, I’ll patiently wait for apps to catch up
