Just did a fresh install of Tumbleweed 201121
Added pacman using the following using repo at;

sudo zypper addrepo -cfp 90 https://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/misc/packman/suse/openSUSE_Tumbleweed/ packman

Tried to install using;

# sudo zypper dist-upgrade --from packman --allow-vendor-change

and got the following output

Solution 1: Following actions will be done:
install libavformat58_45-4.3.1-8.3.i586 despite the inferior architecture
deinstallation of gimp-2.10.22-3.1.x86_64
Solution 2: Following actions will be done:
deinstallation of libavformat58_45-4.3.1-5.1.x86_64
deinstallation of gimp-2.10.22-3.1.x86_64
Solution 3: keep obsolete libavformat58_45-4.3.1-5.1.x86_64
Solution 4: break librtmp1-2.4.20151223.fa8646d-1.53.x86_64 by ignoring some of its dependencies

I am using Wayland but will replace it with nVidia drivers for the G 1660 card.

Any ideas, suggestions or help are appreciated in advance!

Harry

This is a known problem since the latest TW snapshot (20201121). See https://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php/547540-Problem-nothing-provides-libhogweed-so-5()(64bit)-needed-by-librtmp1-2-4-20151223-fa8646d-1-53-x86

A fix has been submitted packman’s side and a dist-upgrade should be smoothly done :wink:
