Tumbleweed on USB drive

Hello
I post here : the question is not a problem, only a curiosity.

I have installed Tumbleweed on a USB SSD stick.
That works but not always.

It works on my desktop that is in legacy.

I would use this stick on the laptop that it is UEFI only : the stick will not run.

The question is : How do I install Tumbleweed on my USB stick so that it works equally well on both ‘legacy’ and ‘UEFI’ PCs?

Install for legacy booting (as you have done). Make sure that you create an EFI partition on that USB drive, and mount that at “/boot/efi”.

If needed, run:

zypper install shim grub2-x86_64-efi

Then run the command:

shim install --removable --no-nvram

I will try a new install.
