Tumbleweed is not asking for password

Hi everyone, I set my password, but when I restart or power on my laptop, opensuse is not asking for password, only kde wallet asking for password for wifi access, I checked autologin, but it didn’t work

If it is not asking for a password whilst computer start, you have enabled autologin. This is the standard setting when installing openSUSE. You need to remove one checkmark whilst user creation.

If you are using KDE Plasma, you can simply disable autologin via systemsettings (also possible with other DEs…).

the KDE setting for that behaves slightly differently than the one in YAST (I don’t remember whats different though), which if it was like this when you installed, may need to be turned off in YAST User & Group Management

I checked settings and yast, I followed the guides, but there was no autologin, then I went to /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager, auotlogin was disabled and there was my username, I don’t know why it’s not working…

I don’t know how, but the yast → User Management → expert options → Login settings wasn’t there, but somehow after rebooting it appeared then, I could disable autologin from there, thanks)
