Tumbleweed how do I tell the kernel to no modeset in Grub2 at boot from the "e" screen?

The latest zypper dup has left me with no graphical log in that works.
I just have a flashing Plasma login page (flashes for a half second every second or so) I have a Nvidia GeForce GT 620 and am using Nouveau
I need to tell Grub to to pass the nomodset command to the kernel from the grub2 boot screen to see if I can get a working graphical interface.
I hit “e” and get to the screen where you can see what the boot stanza is.
It’s all greek to me. Where/how do I put the nomodeset. The old grub just let you add it to end of line.
Grub2 isn’t like that and Google is not being any help.
There is a lot of stuff there. Where do I tell the kernel what to do?

OK.
I got to the command line after a while via ctrl-alt-f1 and edited the bootloader via yast2
Now I have 640X480 resolution and a graphical desktop.
How do I get my 1920x1080
The setup in Plasma doesn’t seem to be able to set it just tells you what it is.
I’d be happy if that nouveau update hadn’t borked my working graphical desktop ;).

Removing Mesa-dri-nouveau seems to get the graphical desktop back. Worked for me. Graphics aren’t quite as smooth, but at least everything is working.

I got drastic. I pulled out the video card. I’m using the built in intel video now.
Out of 3 Nvidia systems this was the only one that was impacted.
The other two suffered no ill effects. So it’s a rolling of the dice thing.
