Taking the case of Audacious, there was a flag regarding this issue on the OBS Factory page a few weeks ago but, that now seems to have disappeared …
<https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/openSUSE:Factory/audacious>

Taking the case of Krita – there’s a new build request in KDE:Extra submitted about 3 hours ago but, the changes don’t seem to include the restoration of the removed required package …
<https://build.opensuse.org/package/requests/KDE:Extra/krita>
There was also recently a flag on the OBS Factory page for Krita mentioning this issue …

So, what’s going on here?
OBS builds are passing all the required openQA tests but, there are required packages which have been removed from the openSUSE repositories … <https://openqa.opensuse.org/>.
And the build is published – despite at least one missing dependency …

May I suggest that, the openQA Test Cases include a test to prove that, ALL the required package dependencies are in fact available in the openSUSE repositories BEFORE, any given «successful» build is published. :smiling_imp:

It is not audacious but the audacious-plugins that do not build because of missing libsidplayfp.so.6. That has been fixed upstream with release 4.6

After installing the Tumbleweed snapshot 20260602 yesterday, I simply blindly tried a couple of re-installations – Krita and Audacious – both re-installed happily with no issues:

  • For the case of Krita, “libquazip1-qt5-1_7” has been restored to the Tumbleweed OSS repository.
  • For the case of Audacious, the “audacious-plugins” package no longer requires “libsidplayfp
    I haven’t yet figured out why not but, Audacious is now reinstalled with no orphaned packages in this Tumbleweed system.

A big thank you to the openSUSE package maintainers for actively resolving this issue within a few days! :star_struck: :+1:
