I’am trying to install tumbleweed on on a new DELL PRO MAX MA16250 laptop ( Intel core 265H , Nvidia Pro Blackwell 3000 Hybrid Graphics. 3840x2400 Display)
The installation system boots fine ( you can boot into the rescue system) loads drivers
and starts the installer. But at the moment , when the installer switches to graphics mode I get a black screen. The installer works fine on Dell a XPS15 9530 ( Intel 8th Gen / Nvidia TI1050M hybrid graphics 3840x2160 display)
First Idea: the Nouveau driver lacks support for that GPU. Is there a way to force the use of Intel graphics during installation ?
Any other ideas ?
Which information should I gather for a bugreport? Running hwinfo from rescue system creates a 5,7 MiB file. Is there a way to get debug messages from the installer ?
Add nomodeset to the kernel command line. There are already a quite lot of threads and even bugreports regarding this topic.
