trying to find inexpensive pc to run opensuse on

I’m trying to find a good option for a desktop pc to run opensuse 12 on.
I was looking at refurbished lenovo desktops or considering building my own.
The less money the better as it will mostly be for home use, internet, email, light office.
Can you install opensuse on a solid state hard drive?

I would think most x86/64 hardware is good as long as it does not have weird proprietary components. For example nvidia switchable graphics are less common on desktops so I do not foresee a problem.

Certainly, it can be treated just as any other storage. There are various tweaks to improve performance with them though I am not sure how much is still relevant.
