hi people
I have some problem… i’m not a linux/network geek i work with linux only one year so be patient please
it hard to me explain but i try…yestarday was thunder, and for some moment electricity is down… i has ups it didn’t help. system freeze
reboot…
all fine but network is complite down
i have some complicated network… my primary pc(oS11) has two ethernet cards eth0(onboardvia) and eth1(realtek)
eth0 is my primary internet connection to adsl router/modem(zhone(paradyne) 6211 it configured as dhcp server for my home network)
eth0>8-port-switch>ADSL
eth1>switch>wirelessprivatNetwork
eth1 is doesn’t matter for now…
adsl is working, 2 more pc’s is connected to adsl at same switch… they fine working… i already changed prots among each other, so from my laptop(vista) net is working…
i try i think everything but w/o any good result
what i do with my oS 11:
- i change from if to networkmanager and backward
- i kill all my netwok card from yast, then add and configure from start
- i write route manual, automatic…
- i set up eth0 with both dhcp and manually
- reboot each time i have changed settings
- also i try ip v4 and v6
i think the troble could be criped(?) how can i diagnose it?
