hello
i tried to install gdm (i used lightdm)
together with it yast installed afew tems of other things among which nautilus which i do not want at all
i then tried to uninstall gdm
none of the other tens of things stated above was uninstalled at the same time
how do i know the list of all these installed together
so as to remove them one by one by hand

Type the following in a terminal window and you will see all packages sorted by the time they were installed:
rpm -qa --last | less
YaST installer has a “menu” item which helps you sift through the history of both installed and UN-installed packages
