trouble adding network drive from my opensuse server

Hello and thanks to everyone for making the linux community as awesome as it is. I am really new to Linux and decided to use openSUSE as the OS of choice for my own internal server.

I am trying to network a drive which is a USB drive. The directory is /media/My Book and I am at a loss on how to network it properly. From my laptop that has linux mint, I click on network and I see SFTP File Transfer on linux-8m03 but it can never seem to mount.

thanks in advance

I don’t know anything about mint, but the traditional *nix way to handle network
volumes is to use NFS. For openSUSE, you can use YaST to install the NFS server
packages and set up the directories to be exported. That information is in
/etc/exports. On mint, you should be able to add the NFS entry to /etc/fstab.
