Referring to the title and the (sub-)forum I think a reply on German language is wanted - If not I will rephrase/translate my reply.
Zudem nehme ich mit Google an, dass das “Prixma” ein Schreibfehler war (zu solchen neige ich auch).
Vielleicht haben andere mehr Erfolg, aber ich habe nur dieses offenbar (überwiegend?) proprietäre (nicht freie) Paket für Debian (und darauf beruhende Linux-Distributionen) beim Hersteller/Vertreiber Deines Druckers/all in one-Gerätes gefunden:

Also wenn ich es richtig verstehe, beruht die Canonsoftware zwar zu einem großen Teil auf freier Software, sie ist aber selbst nicht frei, sondern proprietär …:\

oder über CUPS per http://localhost:631/ erkannt wird? -
Canon zu fragen (Email, forum, Brief, Fax ?) ob es irgendwo Quellen zum Kompilieren (en: to compile/for compiling; etwa: [stumpf] übersetzen/zusammenstellen) in Binärcode gibt, wenn es schon keine Binärpakete für andere Linuxversionen (als eine bestimmte aus 2008) gibt.

scheint es ja zumindest für den “MP540” mal ein .rpm - Paket gegeben haben (das wohl auch unter openSUSE 11.1 und 11.3 funktionierte). -
Wild herum ratend: Wenn Du Dich gut genug mit Linux auskennst/mutig bist:
a) Vielleicht funktioniert ja einer der Vorschläge, die unter HCL: Printers#Canon - openSUSE-wiki (en) oder HKL/Drucker#Canon - openSUSE-wiki (de) für ähnliche Drucker stehen?
b) unter Canon PIXMA MP Guide - openSUSE gibt es noch eine alte (=für openSUSE 11.1) Anleitung von einem mir unbekannten Benutzer, wie man fremde (“alien”) Pakete für einen Canon Pixma (wohl einen “Bruder” Deines Druckers/All-In-One-Gerätes) auch unter openSUSE installiert.
Leider/zum Glück habe ich nur einen (Netzwerk-)Drucker von einem Hersteller, der ziemlich vorbildlichen Service für Linux-basierte Systeme bietet und kann daher leider nicht mit herumprobieren/herum-experimentieren. Aber ich werde mal ein paar (hoffentlich passende) Stichworte an dem Tread anbringen, vielleicht findet sich noch ein Klügerer?

Ich habe den MP550 und nutze als Druckertreiber den Turboprint Treiber, kostet zwar Geld funktioniert dafür aber hervorragend, ist kinderleicht zu installieren, unterstützt alle Funktionen des Canon Originaltreibers (z.B. Tintenstandkontrolle, Düsenreinigung etc.) und liefert einen hervorragenden Photodruck (wichtig für mich).

Der Scanner wird wird von SANE unterstützt und liefert mit dem SANE Treiber überzeugende Ergebnisse, speziell beim Fotoscan.
Sowohl Turboprint als auch SANE unterstützen auch den MP540, habe extra nochmals nach geschaut;)

SANE - Scanner Access Now Easy scheint dies nach SANE: Supported Devices keinen Unterschied zu machen.

Schande über mich, da habe ich nicht richtig gelesen. Ist aber egal, sowohl Turboprint als auch SANE unterstützen auch den MP560.
Der MP560 ist aber m.W. WLAN fähig. Ob das funktioniert weiß ich nicht.
