I have just migrated from Mint and need to transfer all my mail files. I know where they are in Mint, but not too sure about Suse - can anyone assist please?
Not without know which mail application?

The files are in ~/.thunderbird
You do have to install Thunderbird it is not installed by default.
Generally is always better to export then import but going from Thunderbird to Thunderbird copy should be ok
