tracker-extract cpu usage problem

Hi.
top shows cpu usage by tracker-extract is about 70% and it doesn’t stop.
I read on a forum that I can remove tracker , but I’m using gnome 3 on openSuSE 12.1 and it seems gnome-shell libraries have dependency to tracker.
How I can fix this problem? try to uninstall tracker and ignore dependencies,or what should I do?

You can set-off tracker in his settings. Or set-off folder in his settings. If there will be no ways for search his won’t work. :wink:

Enter in the console: tracker-preferences
and adjust the settings as in my screenshot:
