Hi, i have a usebe Wireless TL-WN321G and i search driver for him and a little guide how i can install it without connection on the internet.

Thanks

You must download it as *.ymp and or as *.rpm or with that guide Slow application startup - Localhost error

I find this:

HowTos/Laptops/Wireless - CentOS Wiki

But i don`t have a cable internet connection to pc… i download pack from my laptop and copy with usb stick to my pc and i get this error:

An internal system error has occurred … More details " Dir//avar/tmp/tmpdir.pdasul] Repository already exist.

The first thing to do is to learn exactly what a TL-WN321G is and what driver it
takes. I do not trust any vendor information as they have a habit of changing
the wireless chip without changing the model/version info.

If your device is a PCI device, then post the output of the relevant part of

/sbin/lspci -nnk

If it is USB, then the command is ‘lsusb’. As that command is not installed by
default, you may get a “command not found” message.

If you are running Windows, there is another way to get the info. Start the
device manager, open the Network Adapter section and right click on the device.
Select Properties and pick the Details tab on the popup. Set the pulldown to
“Device Instance Id”. You will see something like “PCI\VEN_XXXX\DEV_YYYY…”.
Those numbers XXXX and YYYY are what we need.

is usb … i use command lsusb and i found this :

WTF are rhe numbers? Ralink has many, many devices. If you want help, please
answer the questions, otherwise you are on your own!

You must download it as *.ymp and or as *.rpm or with that guide Slow application startup - Localhost error

Because you have not internet connection these kind of files(rpm & ymp) can be saved in a USB stick, But as I read your USB stick is not recognized from your system so I want for you as “lwfinger” said to open a terminal and write this command

lsusb

Post the output here

Hi, i have a usebe Wireless TL-WN321G

In your first post I read that you have this wireless from your network. If you have problems with that again I tell you to read this guide Slow application startup - Localhost error

When I type lsusb, I get

Bus 001 Device 003: ID 7392:7811 Edimax Technology Co., Ltd EW-7811Un 802.11n
Wireless Adapter [Realtek RTL8188CUS]

for my wireless device. Those numbers 7392:7811 are what I need. AFAIK, all
versions of lsusb provide this info. If yours does not, then try ‘lsusb -v’.
That will dump a lot of stuff, but the ID should be there.

Bus 003 Device 010: ID 148f:2070 Ralink Technology, Corp.

Thank you - finally. The driver for your device is rt2800usb, which is built
into the kernel. You only have to configure it.

It took so much effort to get this far that I have no time to lead you through
configuring your wireless. Perhaps someone else will do that, otherwise read the
forum.

Can you give me more information how i can configurate it ?

Hello,
I have just bought a TP-LINK TL-WN321G USB, which says v4.1 on the sticker at the side of the box.

After running “lsusb”, I get
Bus 001 Device 005: ID 148f:2070 Ralink Technology, Corp. RT2070 Wireless Adapter

To get NetworkManager (with a default 11.4 (64bit) Gnome installation) to pick it up and connect to wireless I did the following as root

modprobe rt2800usb
modprobe -r rt2870sta

Then I plugged it into my USB port, and NetworkManager picked up my wireless networks.

I hope this helps the original poster.
Thanks
