Touchpad stopped working on opensuse 11.3

Hi my touchpad just stopped working and i cant figure out for the love of god how to make it work again. Im using a Hp pavillion dv4000 and opensuse 11.3 on the KDE desktop. Can someone help me??

Does the keyboard work?
Can you navigate the mouse with the num pad?

check if there’s a Fn key to disable it. Note that it might be normal for KDE to disable it when a mouse is connected.
