Dear Friends,
I installed openSUSE Leap 42.1 - Although my touchpad/mousepad whatever one might call it; doesn’t work at all. - Is this a known issue? is there a module that I can install to get support for the touchpad?

Hi, welcome !!
Is xf86-input-libinput installed ?
Ola amigo,
Yes I already installed it;
‘No update candidate for ‘xf86-input-libinput-0.14.0-2.1.x86_64’. The highest available version is already installed’
People have reported that the hardware on these laptops does work with the latest 4.5 kernel.
I ran uname -r and got this kernel version: 4.1.15-8-default - can you guide me how about can I install the right version?

I found this, but I don’t know which I should choose that supports my touchpad.
I installed that kernel and it works thank you a lot man!
