I am using suse 11.0 on a dell Inspiron 6000. And its touchpad can not sense my finger correctly. It is unresponsive and I have to use a mouse to work. But that eats at my battery life. Who ever is reading this can you help me please.
If it’s synaptic touchpad-compatible you could try the gsynaptics package that comes in the OS11 DVD. It allows you to set sensitivity, taping time and acceleration.
