touchpad dies on suspend 2 ram

Hi,

I have a Compaq Presario CQ61 (Intel video). Everything works, except
one little thing: when I suspend to memory the touchpad dies on return.
Even the little button that enables/disables it dies. With suspend to
disk there is no problem.

I wonder if there is some method to restart the touchpad? I could live
with that.

Hi there,

i think you could try to “depmod” the driver for the touchpad to get it working again.
But dont know if it works.
