My touchpad and keyboard work during the install steps of Leap 42.1, but after the install finishes and I boot into the login screen, touchpad and keyboard no longer works.
Installed with KDE
Laptop = Alienware 13 (3 months old if it matters)
CPU = Intel I5 5200U 2.20 ghz w/ Intel 5500 HD graphics
RAM = 8 Gigs
Graphics Card = NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M
Wanting to duel boot it next to Windows 7. Currently running Leap 42.1 using VMWARE Workstation in Windows 7 and it works good.

I have a problem that seems to be related, my touch-pad click works in installation and after installed, it works in the login screen to, but after loging in stops working (always). I have no problem with keyboard.
It’s a fresh installation.
Laptop = ACER ASPIRE 5734Z
RAM: 4GB
Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU T4500 @ 2.30GHz × 2
Graphics: Mobile Intel® GM45 Express Chipset
openSUSE Leap 42.1 (x86_64) 64-bit

I saw other notebook with openSUSE 42.1 installed, in the mouse+touchpad config I can see 3 check box with options.
In my notebook I can’t see them.

Enabling touch-pad click using command works.
Execute the following in a terminal
synclient TapButton1=1
To see more values in synaptic
synclient -l
