I have an Acer Aspire 7735Z laptop.
I previously have OpenSUSE 11.4 installed and disabled the synapic tap functionality.
Symptom:
I have installed OpenSUSE 12.1 and am having endless frustrations with the touchpad.
When I boot up, I get an error message stating: “No touchpad found”
Problem 1:
Unable to turn off touchpad tapping
Problem 2:
Random clicking when I type fast, even if nothing touches the touchpad
Problem 3:
The right click doesn’t work correctly.
Besides disabling touchpad tapping in 11.4, there are no special settings/tweaks on my system.
This is a plain upgrade from OpenSUSE 11.4 to 12.1.
