I’ve checked on another one of my machines, also running Tumbleweed, and those errors do NOT appear. The main difference between the two is that one has an Nvidia GPU (the one with the errors) and the other has AMD. While searching, I read about NVIDIA “leaks”, which are issues in the management of open-file resources generated by the graphics driver in combination with Wayland; they need tweaks to avoid errors related to too many open files.
It’s a known bug and part of the specific interaction between NVIDIA drivers, Wayland, and KDE Plasma.
Thank you very much for letting me know that in your case those errors aren’t present either. I had already changed the limit before reading your message, so I don’t know if it would have been solved “automagically” when logging out or if it’s because I raised the limit.
NOTE: Thanks for changing thread name (whoever did it
)
