Too little sound on totem player

Hi friends,
Im using Totem player to watch movies.However the sound effects are too low even at full volume.i have checked the volume ctrl and they are at full volume.

Try going to YaST > Hardware > Sound > Other > Volume and move both master and PCM volume there up to 95%. Close YaST. Then start your mixer, and move both master and PCM volume up there to a reasonably high level, such that you are happy with your sound.

i tried it…but the output was not much improved.Any way i downloaded VLC and now the Sound is better…But Still …Is there any other way to get good quality HI-FI sound…(Mean Any PLUGINS)??
