Time filter on dmesg

My system is occasionally freezing. I’m looking for more information on dmesg, but all I see is information on the boot process. How do I filter it for the time?

Have you considered reading the man page for dmesg?

See if “–since” and “–until” options meet your needs (or maybe I misunderstand ?).

I’m not clear, would that be the standard time on the clock or something else?

Yep … wall-clock time … unless you specify otherwise.
