Thunderbird links open in Chromium

last year I switched to using Chrome because chromium seemed a little slow to load.
Now I have switched back as chromium seems relatively quick again - but I can’t get links in Thunderbird to open in Chromium.
I’ve set chromium as default in KDE.
Whenever I click a link it still opens in chromium.
uninstalling chromium links now do absolutely nothing.

When I made Chrome the default browser last year I remember having to change some settings in Thunderbird . . .

network.protocol-handler.warn-external.https
network.protocol-handler.warn-external.http
network.protocol-handler.warn-external.ftp

to **True

**I guess there is probably some mimetype file somewhere I need to delete manually to reset Thunderbird links.

???

Many thanks for any help.

edit: cancel that - deleting the mimetype.rdf in thunderbird profile folder did the trick. I should have looked harder before posting.

… guess I won’t bother suggesting that, then.
