Since I updated to Thunderbird 91.4 I have a problem with the compose window. If I open a new message with ctrl+n often a random part of the new window stays 100% transparent. I can get the are back by switching to another desktop and back or by minimising and restoring the window. Any idea how this can be solved?
I’ve the same configuration and don’t see this issue.
If you reinstall the previous version 78.3.0 from yast>program manager does the problem goes away?
Anyway, I’d start by checking composition settings, like trying with compositor (desktop effects) on/off, render type, openGL version, etc., see systemsettings>display & monitor>compositor.
TB also has a hardware acceleration option in preferences>general.
Regardless, I think this probably merits a bug report.
