I noticed that Thunderbird 78 wasn’t included in the update this weekend. Do we anticipate that this will be included soon? Or should I update manually from Thunderbird’s site?
Better to wait for 78.2. Version 78 should mainly be used by addon developers, because most addons that work with the 68.x version won’t work with version 78. Also keep in mind that 78 is not offered as an automatic upgrade from 68.x in the Windows world for a reason, 78.2 will be the next version that will be offered as an automatic upgrade.
Thank you for the heads up! I loaded 78 in a VM and it looks promising, but there are some issues.
