hi!
For the longest time I am attempting to get thinliquidfilm (video file converter for ipods) to work on my various opensuse systems. I miserably failed with 10.2, 10.3 and now 11 as well. I get it installed alright and I think I have covered all the dependencies.
When I start the app, it informs me on the console, that it has detected support for xvid and h264 via ffmpeg.
ffmpeg supports xvid
ffmpeg supports h264
But when I try to open a file, I always get the same error message:
"There was a problem opening <any file in any format here>. This file may be corrupted or may not be a valid video file."
I can’t find thinliquid film in any of the community repositories, so I did install it from scratch.
Is anybody using this app on opensuse and can give me some pointers on how to make this work?
Thanks in advance,
cheers Juergen
