Dear Opensuse Users: I have a machine at home that I just upgraded to 13.1x64. I’m thinking I might upgrade to “Factory.” I’m wondering if this will be an instant headache? I don’t do too much with this machine, just games now and then, it’s certainly not my main opensuse box. So I was wondering if anyone had stories to share about Factory… Is it basically a “rolling” distro, like LMDE? Does it do OK with NVidia drivers (i.e., high performance drivers for 3D graphics)?

EDIT; I just thought of a potential problem - no third party repos! Oops, my bad - they are there…
Wouldn’t it have been better to ask this in the Pre-release/Beta forum where the Factoty users gather. Here in the standard suppported version (12.3 and 13.1) section are mostly the users of the stable released version.

It can be.

It is basically a Beta version, where things are tested, renamed as
“rolling distro”. That’s my very personal opinion.

Not always. And you have to install them “the hard way”.
