So now for a little over a year (maybe close to 15 month) i run only linux on my computer.
Why did i made the change anyway?
In my case, i was due for a renewel for my anti-virus software (nod32) and since i thought, mmm… why again, and i tried Ubuntu since it was the first distro to show up in google.
That lasted for about 2 month and i changed to OpenSuse.lol!
Since that time i haven’t even played anymore on my computer (COD Player) and did not miss it anyway.
Did i had Windows installed? No, i went cold to linux. It did not make any sense to me to carry Windows with me since i worked fully with linux and tried to learn the commands and some other sideknowledge.
From time to time there is this temptation to use Windows for some reason, but i resisted. Well, i am well off to say since i don’t have to use any Windows application at all. I don’t have a job that makes me use a certain software, but i know some people do.
I did not regret it at all and work happily with my linux and everything just works right. Ok, there are some speedbumps from time to time, but nothing major really.
So for anyone who has doubt about Linux and if it works i can only say. Hey if i can do it than you can too.
For some reason i imagine sometimes the registry. Isn’t that strange.
But nothing against Windows. I had some fun time and it was quite stable with Vista. But since i also had trouble with Acdsee Pro it made my switch so much easier.
I do sometimes fantasize to try bsd, but Opensuse works so good for me that i just stay anyway.
Hey, if you like to add your story to it, it might be nice to read it.
