the sound isn't working!

I just got OpenSUSE 11.2 KDE 4, and the sound isn’t working. How do I get it to work?

First check the mixer in the panel
And that the channels are set correctly and have the volume sliders UP

Also check in Yast - Hardware -Sound
Select the device listed there and edit, then run through the config, just select the defaults by clicking next, is usually sufficient.
