The Live CD is asking for log in details

Hello

I’ve just burnt a Gnome and KDE Live CD’s and now I’m presented with a request for login name and password.

Can anybody tell me what they should be so that I can evaluate which version of Suse to install on my computer?

Cheers

I believe the default is “linux” for user and password for the latest read here

Geoff

Hello

Thanks for the reply to the login name of Linux

However when I boot into the Live Gnome disk I can not get past the log in screen because I don’t know the Password.

Booting into KDE is a doddle and I’ve been playing with that.

I’ll keep trying to look for the password for Gnome but as such I can’t find it.

Cheers

Very strange.

Just booted into the Gnome Live CD and this time I went straight to the desktop with no need to log in.

Thanks for your help.

BTW

seeing as I have solved this problem is there any way of deleting the subject all together?

Presumably by “subject” you mean the forum thread… normally there
isn’t, but that’s typically okay as this may help others in the future.

Good luck.
