The key combos to invoke switching between the Virtual Consoles in 12.1

Hi,

This is quite probably related to my keyboard configuration (it has never been correctly identified or configured correctly under any Linux install I’ve ever done). Anyway, has anyone else discovered different key combos to invoke the virtual consoles?

It never used to be like this for me, but I have discovered that, under 12.1, I have to use both the left Ctrl and Win keys plus the applicable Fn key to switch between the respective virtual consoles.

(Interestingly, if I use both the right Ctrl and Alt keys plus the F1 key, I can switch to tty1, but all other Fn keys using this combo are unresponsive).

From the GUI, CTL-ALT-Fx gets me to virtual console x (x=1,2,3,4,5,6) - okay, I only tested up through 3.

From a virtual console, just ALT-Fx should work to switch between them.

This is pretty much the same as the way it used to work back in 1995.

Okay, thanks. I will investigate further (as time permits, given its not particularly critical) under the assumption that the keyboard config is the culprit then for the non-standard behaviour
