The kernel module snd-hda-intel could not be loaded

Hi all,

I run Thumbleweed on the lastes xps 15 and this morning afer a reboot the sound card stopped working, when I try to reconfigure it using yast, I get the following error:

the kernel module snd-hda-intel could not be loaded

Any hints on this?

After a restart with my hdmi cable unplugged I was able to get it to work.

Glad to read your sound is working now.

Is having the HDMI cable unplugged a configuration you want ?

Do you wish to investigate this further ?

Not at this time, this has never happened again, I have more serious issues with the display after kernel 4.5 update.
