that is odd…

but, i have been meeting myself coming and going

DenverD (Linux Counter 282315) via NNTP, Thunderbird 2.0.0.14, KDE
3.5.7, SUSE Linux 10.3, 2.6.22.18-0.2-default #1 SMP i686 athlon

that is odd…

Well, it seems so at first, but I take these statistics from the NNTP server and look exclusively at email address (as it’s the only guaranteed unique factor in NNTP). When you post from the web interface, the gateway translates your email address into a no-mx** address for security reasons so in NNTP you show up as two different users, depending on the interface you post with. If you want to sync this up, you can put the no-mx** address in your news client. See the NNTP FAQ regarding matching email addresses.

ah…thanks…

i made that change sometime during August…so, i guess this month
there will only be one of me here…

a good thing since a double dose might be too much for some to
stomach.
