TextWand feedback request

Hi Guys,
We have developed a New Age Text Messaging Product on opensuse called ‘TextWand’ (Text Wand). Since you are some of the most active users of opensuse, your acceptance and approval of our work will be most valuable.

I would appreciate it if you can download and use TextWand on opensuse and let me know where I can improve your experience.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

“TextWand” is catchy, but i think you should have named it: ApsNep

Another Proprietary Solution to a Non-existing Problem

i was thinking about ApsNep-Eula.ch (Another Proprietary Solution to
a Non-existing Problem - End User License Agreement to Choke a Horse)
but decided the folks in Switzerland (.ch) might take offense…

ymmv

hi DenverD,
Thank you for your response and the interesting abbreviation. TextWand is a free product that is similar to Blackberry Services or Active Exchange server for Push messaging. It works on almost all desktop and mobile platforms so that it is easy to sync messages between linux and mobile phones. We are building open source extensions to several features such as Push e-mail on TextWand. We would be glad to put the entire code on open source once we figure out how to fund the development further. So far it is free with Ads as the way to pay the bills.

I hope you will at least give TextWand a try and share your thoughts.

Regards,
Sunil
