I’m translating an English text in “writer”, using a copy of the original
English file. I have switched the language of all the text to Spanish. But
as I type, I am offered autocompletion of the text mostly with English
words instead of Spanish.
Do you know a way to change that?

How have you switched the language to Spanish - by using Tools>Options>Language or by using Format>Character>Font? I haven’t encountered this problem but I don’t know why other than that I normally change both.

I used Tools>Options>Language and toools/language/all text/spanish.
The character dialog I did not see. I was looking in the style selection,
modify “default style” and did not see language there, and IIRC it was
there months ago. The character dialog you say has language blank - could
be that. …] Yes, tried a few words, that was it. Thanks!
And today I see it in the style selection, font tab - and is set to
Spanish. But I see the original user did not use styles at all, the style
has a different font than the one actually used.
