temporary internet files

where does the temporary internet files gets saved in linux?

look in your home, in the hidden folder of the application that you are using as a browser. Example: you are using firefox. Then you’ll find everything in
/home/YOUR_USERNAME/.mozilla/firefox

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1

Depends on what you are using to access the Internet, and possibly on
which distribution of Linux, and if you have your tool set to cache
internet files since they are entirely optional. I guess the only
definite answer is likely to be, “Somewhere in your home directory,”
since that is the only place you are most-likely to have rights to write
these data.

Good luck.

If you are using Firefox, then in your home directory:

.mozilla/firefox/<default profile>/Cache

I recommend you to delete temporary files in Firefox. Tools > Clear Private Data.
