updated today with Myrlyn, afterwards Telegram failed to run, got segmentation error
installed tsetup.5.15.4.tar.xz from web, no problems found running it.

You have the option to use the flathub version:
flatpak install flathub org.telegram.desktop
It is recommended to perform a flatpak update after installation:
flatpak update
This is how a Telegram update will be performed.
