Ditto; I’ve never used it before 12.2 but it’s been fine for me and I’m
able to both share my desktop as well as access others’ machines.

Good luck.

Teamviewer 7 works for me on 12.1 as well as 12.2. Btw whatever wine
version is installed or not installed does not matter at all, Teamviewer
ships its own wine version as part of the rpm which is then used when
starting the program and is invisible to the rest of the system.

Hi Folks,

P.S.: forum Admin please feel free to delete my post if it’s violate any forum rules

@bizzotech:
I cannot see how an answer can violate a rule, welcome by the way.
But your tiny url gives me a page not found, can you check that?

Interesting read about the 32 bit parts.
I think the part of that article that mentions installing wine is a
bit a red herring, it looks more as if some dependencies which are
installed by selecting wine is what is really needed (but not sure
which), for me it worked out of the box on 12.2 (and I had no wine
installed on the ThinkPad). Of course it can be that missing
dependencies you have on a fresh system were by accident satisfied on
mine because of all the other software I have installed.

Yes, I guess the same for me.

I’m having the same issue on opensuse 12.2 64bit. When I run teamviewer I receive this error:
Could not load GNU/Linux extension shared library tvwine.dll.so. Not sure what dependencies I’m missing or if it’s an issue with Teamviewer. I’m using Teamviewer 7.0.9360 for suse 64bit

Sorry I found out that I was missing a dependency found on the link above:

Installing TeamViewer 7 on openSUSE 12.1 | silviumc

It now works

I’m having the same issue on opensuse 12.2 64bit. When I run teamviewer I receive this error:
Could not load GNU/Linux extension shared library tvwine.dll.so. Not sure what dependencies I’m missing or if it’s an issue with Teamviewer.

I missed the fact that I’m running the 32-bit version of teamviewer, on my 64-bit OS. For now, that might be your easiest option.

Thanks for the update. I just read about that libXtst6-32bit package in this Ubuntu thread as well:

[SOLVED] Teamviewer 7 installation - Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin - Page 2 - Ubuntu Forums](http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1936044&page=2)

I check the dependency:
rpm --query --all | grep --extended-regexp “libfreetype6-32bit|libXrender1-32bit|libXfixes3-32bit|libXtst6-32bit|alsa-plugins-pulse-32bit|libfreetype6-32bit|libxcb1-32bit|libXext6-32bit|libXi6-32bit|libXext6-32bit|libXdmcp6|libXdamage1-32bit|libXau6-32bit”

libXrender1-32bit-0.9.7-2.1.2.x86_64
libXtst6-32bit-1.2.1-2.1.2.x86_64

the all dependency that TeamViewer Needed had installed, but i Run teamViewer:

TeamViewer: 7.0.9360
Profile: /home/knight (knight)
Desktop: gnome
LSB Version: n/a
Distributor ID: SUSE LINUX
Description: openSUSE 12.2 (x86_64)
Release: 12.2
Codename: Mantis

Checking setup…
Launching c:\Program Files\TeamViewer\Version7\TeamViewer.exe…

still report the Error:
Could not load GNU/Linux extension shared library tvwine.dll.so

why???

Sorry!!
I Miss the dependency: libXdamage1-32bit
Now TeamViewer Work Fine!!
Thanks
