Here System Monitor overlaps with digiKam
Workaround to rearrange icons - start any new task.
Sorry for taking real photo of the screen. When I do PrintScreen KSnapShot task appears in the list and makes all task to rearrange. The resulting screenshot contains already fixed view.
Any suggestions appreciated!
Have you tried right clicking on the Task Manager and adjusting the Task Manager settings, e.g. altering the number of rows? Also open the Panel and increase the height of the panel so that more than one row can be accommodated comfortably.
The issue happens quite random. Once in a week or two
I have increased height (not much, only few pixels). I can’t change number of rows because I used 2 rows for many years and don’t want to change task bar view so radically.
Also I upgraded video drivers to the latest and will see if anything of that helped
Thanks
In which case, I have had random problems with overlapping buttons in the task manager when I have had lots of applications open. They disappear when I log in again. So I suspect it is a KDE4.6.0 bug.
Sorry for digging up this old topic, but it seems like this annoying bug is still present in the new version of OpenSUSE with KDE 4.10. Why is the Bugzilla bug status set to closed because it’s not fixed. Does anyone have a workaround?
OS: OpenSUSE 12.3 x86_64
Kernel: 3.7.10-1.1
**Qt: **4.8.4
KDE: 4.10.00 “release 1”
