Talking about Strawberry Music Player

Translated with Deepl :

Strawberry is the obvious follow-up to Clementine.
As Clementine is no longer maintained, unlike Strawberry, Strawberry should take its place.
Strawberry has an active development team, but also an active forum.
Its developer has often asked for help with development (especially for Windows/Mac) and spensoring. The feedback hasn’t lived up to expectations.
(I’m not blaming anyone, even if I’m not a technician or rich, I didn’t share enough donate enough and I wasn’t able to simply make the English/French wiki pages).
The maintainer, Jonas, has been forced to make the Mac and Windows versions chargeable: Pay for the newest verison? | Strawberry Music Player Forum

I’d just like to draw attention to what is, in my opinion, the best music player available on linux and ask how one can apply for it to replace Clementine.

Thanks for the info. I downloaded it and it took an hour to add my music to its collection. Not sure if I have missed something; it seems to want me to create a playlist before I can play anything even though all the files have metadata showing which other files they are associated with. Other music players use that metadata to work out what file to play next without needing me to create a playlist.
