I have a toshiba portege 3505 and it is a great little re-purposeable tablet pc. It has a simple Wacom ISDV4 controlled touch screen which has some general support in OpenSUSE 11.0 (which I am running). However, the touch support is finicky. The pen is not sensitive enough for even basic use, and it refuses to operate on the rightmost quarter of the screen.
So my questions: How can i calibrate the pen so that it is more sensitive, and any ideas as to what is wrong with the uncontrollable portion of the screen.
I have tried wacomcpl but it will not let me adjust the pen because the pen is already enabled in my xorg.conf and is “in use.”
Sorry for the over-verbosity of this post. any ideas would be great.
cheers!
