Tab Candy (Panorama) in Firefox4

Hi,
Just tried tab candy in Firefox4, and its awesome. Its not available in openSUSE build Firefox at the moment, because its in beta5(at least for me here). So i downloaded from the developer site(tab candy) and they tagged it as minefield 4.0 b8pre.
Here is the link:

Other than that, there are many different changes i saw in it, its not a typical Linux FF look now. Some features like:

  • Tabs look
  • Mouse over on links in a site shows url in address bar now
  • Loading of page style is changed, a thin line at the top of tab and at bottom of address bar
  • Changes of button locations like refresh button moved to right corner of address bar
  • and etc etc

Simply its a nice feel…
Just one thing i need to figure out now is to link my plugins to this newly FF. Because i just extract it where i downloaded and then started from there.

Anyone here tried FF4 b8pre?, experience with it?, with plugins?

I just tried it from the folder, downloaded from Mozilla

When I went back to FF3
It crashed
I tried it from a terminal and libmoon was crashing it
I tried a new .mozilla but it still crashed
I removed libmoon and moonlight
Now FF is OK

Something from running FF4 Jeffed up libmoon because it was fine before
I restored my original .mozilla and still all is good.

Carl, did you try to figure out the plugins to work.

No
Just don’t have the time ATM
