System won't recognise keyboard layouts

Hi everyone,

I am using the latest version of OpenSUSE Tumbleweed with KDE Plasma.

I use two keyboard layouts, one for English, another for an RTL language and I need to frequently switch between them during the day.

I have configured the second language in the system settings keyboard area and set up a hotkey for changing between the layouts.

It looks like they are configured ok but when I look into the keyboard layout tray icon only one keyboard layout is available and my switch shortcut does not work.

I seem to be able to temporarily fix this by going into the keyboard layout setting and re-adding the second layout but that is obviously not a long term solution.

Has anyone encountered this bug and if so what is the resolution?
