Having trouble with updating my system 11.3 when loged in as user or as root.
When freshly installed update worked, for about twoo or tree weks i cant get it to work annymore.
Same error everytime:
An internal error has occured
A problem that we were not expecting has occured.

No, that’s the package (one of them) that the update is trying to solve, and fails.

yast “online updater”, rather.

If ‘–rebuilddb’ is not a typo you can use command-not-found to lookup the package that contains it, like this:
cnf --rebuilddb

–rebuilddb: command not found

Thank you, I had the same problem, just searched the forum and found this, tied the rpm --rebuilddb and it worked perfectly. Brilliant. Had been quite worried about the stability of the install before that.
I don’t like see I/O errors… they make me uneasy I’m running on an ASUS K53E with an SSD and rather like the speed I get out of it… I don’t want to go back to the HDD but I guess I will if I have to.
