System hangs after update to kernel 5.3.18-150300.59.81 default

This morning I did a YaST > Online Update and got kernel 5.3.18-150300.59.81 default. Shutdown and boot.

During login (KDE) the system hangs. The light bulb is showing and the turning circle below does not turn anymore. Ctrl-Alt-F1 gives no switch. No mouse movement possible. Had to use the power switch to stop the system.

Second boot. This Time I got logged in in a KDE session. Opened two Konsole windows. After a few minutes: system hangs. No mouse cursor movement, no success with Ctrl-Alt-F1. This time it tried a ping from another system in the LAN: not reachable. Used the power switch again.

Third boot. Again hung during KDE login. This time ping was successful. I could switch to logical screen 1 (Ctrl-Alt-F1), logged in as root (bad example!). ps -ef showed a lot of kde related processes owned by the user. Nothing I could detect as special. Killed sddm and the fallback was the login screen, but it did not work out anymore, Power switch.

New boot, but now in kernel kernel 5.3.18-150300.59.76 default. The system is happily running.

Corrected error in kernel versions.

Isn’t this the same problem as reported yesterday: https://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php/572707-Problem-with-kernel-5-3-18-150300-59-81

Looks like it. Thanks for the pointer.
