Hi friends,
I have opensuse 11.4 (Gnome + KDE) installed. The problem is with Gnome.
When in KDE, everything works fine.
But in gnome, when I shutdown/restart, it merely logs off the session. Then I have to shutdown it from the menu in the login screen.
Please help.
Thanks

Can’t tell really, but if you press ESC during the shutoff, maybe you
can see whats going on. Or, you can check the log.

Sorry not found where had similar problem a while back, (default within Samba?) somewhere in the settings changed that restricted users from shutting down, so needed be root to shutdown.
