Synchronising KOrganizer - Google Calendar with GCALdaemon

Hi,

I have installed and set-up GCALdaemon and KOrganizer according to the instructions here: Linux.com : How to make Kontact work with Google Apps. My system: Lenovo T61, openSUSE 11.3, KDE 4.4.4.

Right after that the calendars synchronise in both directions without problems. After a reboot and autostarting the GCALdaemon and Kontact, however, I keep getting the error message (in German):‘Keine Verbindung zu Rechner localhost. Verbindung abgebrochen’. I.e. ‘No connection to localhost. Connection aborted’.

Now which system can’t be accessed: Google or my PC. I am asking because when specifying the system you upload to/download from one has to replace ‘www.google.com’ by ‘localhost:9090’ in the private ICAL URL of one’s Google Calendar?

Anybody out there with the same problem and a solution?

Cheers and best regards.
