Synce - 13.1 - Install

Hello.
Following http://en.opensuse.org/SynCE
I tried to run synce to connect a GPS running windows CE.
I used to connect it on windows, usinf microsoft ActivSync.

I have tried to install synce, from
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/mobile:synchronization:FACTORY/openSUSE_Factory/mobile:synchronization
and from
https://build.opensuse.org/project/show?project=system:SynCE
And
http://http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/system:/SynCE/openSUSE_13.1
finally by hand adding what is missing from
http://http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/system:/SynCE/openSUSE_12.1

Here are the following errors for “sync-engine”

linux-nlxzq:~ # /usr/bin/sync-engine

Hi
HAL is deprecated and no longer in openSUSE, has been for a while now. I think it’s still in use for KDE3…?

The page mentions a mail list for specific help on synce :-?

Just in case we are not able to help here.

Found some thing… the page above was migrated from this other page:
http://old-en.opensuse.org/SynCE

And this one has the unbroken links to the download and installation
help links, which show in red in the current page. But they are simply
the normal openSUSE download/install pages:

http://old-en.opensuse.org/Download_Help
http://old-en.opensuse.org/Installation_Help

which should be now:

http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Download_help
http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Installation_help

There appears to be some instructions on the wiki link for KDE4, but the
latest refers to openSUSE 11.4…
